Creativeity

Ive always loved art and craft, making homemard cards when you forgot to go to the shop! and coving your hand in P.V.A. glue then waiting for it to dry and slowly peeling it off! sooo fun!
Art was always my favourite subject at school so it is engrained on me. I decided to play around on a sewing machine of all places, not useually the first place i start but i do now know to thread on at least. the aim of the venture was to created some new art work for my room. I treat my room almost as an space in an art gallery, im forever moving round the funiture and swapping positions or treasures and pictures to recreate the room.

So i started sewing onto card rather than fabric and then tearing and cutting pieces of coloured card and sewing in and around them to create the picture. then building up layers and adding some beads too a the end. i love the way the card to so versitile and the sewing machine created the fine lines, but i think next time i will invest in a freewriting arm thingy where the needle goes to make it a bit easier!!!
What do you think?
